Agustin Aguilar

Agustin Aguilar, age 90 of Hobbs, New Mexico died on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Mr. Aguilar was born to Esteban and Pascuala Aguilar on May 28, 1930 in El Porvenir DB, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Agustin is survived by Three daughters; Benita Aguilar of Seminole, Texas; Martha Aguilar of Hobbs, New Mexico; and Irma Rios of Midland, Texas. One son; Santos Aguilar of Chihuahua, Mexico. Seventeen grandchildren, Thirty-Eight great grandchildren and Twenty great-great grandchildren. Eight brothers and sisters. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Agustin was preceded in death by wife Maria Aguilar who passed on January 23, 1980. Two children; Miguel Aguilar and Manuela Aguilar; Two siblings; Lorenzo Aguilar and Gloria Aguilar; Two grandchildren; Naomi Molina and Jose Gomez Aguilar.

He moved to Hobbs in 1980. He worked on many cotton fields and was a farmer back in his home country.

 Visitation will be on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Prairie Haven Memorial Park in Hobbs, New Mexico.
