Alexandra Montoya

Alexandra Montoya, 88 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away March 30, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones. 

Mrs. Montoya was born October 19, 1937, to Ruben Madrid and Rafaela Dominguez in Pecos, Texas. 

Visitation for Alexandra will be Thursday, April 02, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 03, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. Cremation will be taken place at a later date. 

Alexandra is survived by her five children: Diana Ortiz, Dora Dominguez, Emma Sue Layton, Herman Ortiz, and Debbie Dominguez. Sister: Aida Stafford. Brother: Leandro Quiroz. 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. 

Alexandra was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Montoya. Three daughters: Delma Dominguez, Delia Cortez, and Alicia Ortiz and a son: Eddie Ortiz. 

Services are under the direction of Calvay Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
