Angel Garcia Rascon

Angel Garcia Rascon, age 64 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away September 18, 2023 surrounded by his family and loved ones at UMC Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

Mr. Garcia was born December 26, 1958 to Rumaldo Garcia and Rebeca Rason in Cerro Prieto, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Visitation for Angel will be Wednesday, September 20, 2023 starting at 4 p.m. following through until Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Alpha and Omega Christian Church. 

Church services will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Alpha and Omega Christian Church with Pastor Andres Navarez officiating. Committal services will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Angel is survived by his wife of 33 years Hortencia Corona de Garcia of Hobbs. 5 children; Angel Garcia Jr. of Hobbs. Adealberto Garcia and Paul Garcia both of Mexico. Evelyn Garcia and Haidett Garcia both of Farmington, New Mexico. 5 sisters, 4 brothers, and 14 grandchildren. 

Angel was preceded in death by his parents; Rumaldo and Rebeca Garcia and a brother. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
