Anthony David Flores, 39 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away June 30, 2025. He was just seven days away from his 40th birthday. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, generosity, and love.
Mr. Flores was born July 07, 1985 to Antonio Flores and Elizabeth Green in Hobbs, New Mexico where he lived all his life and was a beloved member of the community.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Anthony is survived by his two children: Alexys Martinez of Hobbs and Devon Duarte of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Two sisters: Dawn Marie Flores of Hobbs and Suzette Gengerke of Humble, Texas. Brother: Robert Flores of Hobbs. One grandson: Rian Martinez and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother: Elizabeth (Lisa) Porras and his son: Anthony Cole Flores.
Anthony cherished spending time with his family above all else. He was an avid softball player and sports enthusiast, passionately following his favorite teams, LA Dodgers, LA Lakers, and Las Vegas Raiders. Anthony was stylish and expressed himself through the clothing he wore. He really enjoyed classic cars. Anthony was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Anthony shared a special bond with his father, Tony, and he found immense joy in being a father himself, and a grandfather to Rian Cole. He was a dedicated employee of the City of Hobbs. He maintained lifelong friendships within the community.
Anthony will be missed by all those who knew him. His infectious laughter and endless jokes will be remembered by all.
