Antonia Cuevas

Antonia Cuevas, 89 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away September 28, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones at UMC Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Ms. Cuevas was born February 06, 1936, to Fidel Cuevas and Rita Montanez in Zacatecas, Mexico.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 03, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. 

Antonia is survived by her three children: Antonia Villarreal and Esther Villarreal both of Juarez, Mexico. Beatriz Villarreal of Hobbs, New Mexico. Sister: Teresa Cuevas of Hesperia, California. Brother: Fidel Cuevas of El Paso, Texas. Nine grandchildren, Sixteen great-grandchildren, and Five great-great grandchildren. 

Antonia was preceded in death by her husband: Juan Villarreal Acosta. Parents: Fidel and Rita Cuevas, Two daughters, three sisters, and a brother. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
