Armando Marquez Sr.

Armando Marquez, age 68 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away October 27, 2023 at his home in Hobbs, New Mexico. 

Mr. Marquez was born August 29, 1955 to Pedro Marquez and Maria Erives in Las Varas, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Visitation for Armando will be Monday, November 06, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer vigil will recite at 6 p.m. 

Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, November 07, 2023 at 10 a.m at St. Helena Catholic Church with Deacon Pablo officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Armando is survived by his wife of 40 years Mary Ann Marquez of Hobbs. Three children; Maria Reachi and husband Adrian and Armando Marquez Jr and wife Amanda all of Hobbs. David Marquez and wife Jessica of Odessa, Texas. Five sisters; Martha Moreno and Velia Soltero both of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mary Marquez and Rosita Pinon both of Colorado. Gloria Vargas of Mexico. Five brothers; Uriel Marquez, Guillermo Marquez, and Rafael Marquez all of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Pedro Marquez of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Thirteen grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Armando was preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Maria Marquez. Sister; Emma Gomez

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
