Betty Roach

Betty Roach, loving mother and grandmother, died November 9, 2022 surrounded by her family at her home in Eunice,NM.

Betty is survived by her children Karen Blevins and husband Sam from Eunice, NM, Rhonda Paschal and husband David from Hobbs, NM, Kelly Roach and wife Donna from Eunice NM and Chad Roach and wife Jenny from Woodbine, Georgia. 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Four sisters, La’Joy Stinson (Pat), Linda Roach, Gaylene Smith (J.D.) and Wyllene Holland (Danny) all from Wapanucka, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was born in Enterprise community Wapanucka, Oklahoma October 21, 1943 to Johnny and Gernetta Walters. She graduated from Coleman Oklahoma. Betty married Hoy Roach on October 10, 1961 and welcome 2 beautiful daughters and 2 handsome sons who were the joy of her life and her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well.

Betty was the mother of four amazing children, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and had plenty of plants for everyone. She was devoted to her faith and taught the lord’s word to her children and grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Hoy Roach, her parents Johnny and Gernetta Walters and one brother Bobby Walters.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday November 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eunice Methodist Church. Visitation and family visitation will be Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Calvary Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

The family would like to thank Nor-Lea Cancer Center in Lovington NM and Star Hospice.
