Bobby Brooks

Bobby W. Brooks, 80 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away March 27, 2026, surrounded by his family and loved ones. 

Mr. Brooks was born July 02, 1945, to Frank Brooks and Rhoda Johnson in Okemah, Oklahoma. 

Funeral services for Bobby will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Hobbs, New Mexico. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Bobby is survived by his two children: Bobby Brooks II and Angela Brooks both of Hobbs. Brother: Ben Brooks of Hobbs. Three brothers: Ethel Baty and Josephine Jones both of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Betty Brooks of Denver, Colorado. Sister-in-law: Wilma Brooks of Hobbs and 8 grandchildren. 

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife: Irene Brooks. Parents: Frank and Rhoda Brooks. Son: Bobby Brooks Jr. Sister: Willie Armitige. Four brothers: Thurman Brooks, Donald Brooks, Frank Brooks Jr., and Kermit Brooks. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
