Brooke Lynn Spottedcalf

Brooke Lynn Spottedcalf, age 38 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away December 06, 2022 surrounded by her family and loved ones at UMC Hospital in El Paso, Texas after a long battle with Lupus. 

Ms. Spottedcalf was born November 09, 1984 into the Rosebud Sioux Tribe in Rosebud, South Dakota. 

Visitation for Brooke will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Committal services will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Brooke is survived by her two daughters; Sidney Welch and Alyssa Welch both of Meadow, Texas. Parents; Freddy and Iris Ortiz both of Hobbs. Four brothers; Paul Franco and Steven Franco both of Hobbs. Marc Martinez and Gilbert Salas both of Dallas, Texas. Two sisters; Lisa Franco and Starla Franco both of Hobbs. Four nieces; Destiny Franco and Thalia Vargas both of Hobbs. Ebony Franco and Melony Franco both of Brownfield, Texas. Three nephews; Jacob Franco of Hobbs. Paul Franco Jr and Zachary Franco both of Brownfield, Texas. 

Brooke was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Stanley Roy and Marie Cecil Spottedcalf. Paternal grandparents; Joe and Mary Ortiz. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
