Concepcion Navarrete

Concepcion Navarrete, age 70 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at her residence. 

Ms. Navarrete was born August 15, 1951 to Blas Navarrete and Pilar Martinez in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Services and visitation for Concepcion will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Gonzales officiating. 

Committal burial will be Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Concepcion is survived by her two children; Manuel Escobar and wife Natividad and Blanca Escobar both of Hobbs. Five sisters; Licha Lujan of Midland, Texas, Rosa Martha Levario of Odessa, Texas, Josie Chacon of Hobbs, Gloria Sosa of Dallas, Texas, and Maria Martinez of San Antonio, Texas. Four grandchildren; Andreia Martinez and husband Alfonso Quiroga of Hobbs, Jessica Martinez and husband Victor Parras of San Antonio, Texas, Heraldo Martinez of San Antonio, Texas, and Yvonne Wimbish and Rodney Wimbish of Hobbs. Seventeen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Concepcion was preceded in death by her parents; Blas and Pilar Navarrete. Brother; Feliberto Martinez and a niece; Flor Hernandez. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
