Cruz Amaya Jurado

Cruz Amaya Jurado, age 71 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away February 06, 2023 surrounded by his family and loved ones. 

Mr. Jurado was born May 03, 1951 to Jose Jurado and Aurelia Amaya in San Antonio del Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Visitation for Cruz will be Friday, February 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. 

Chapel services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Fabian Sena officiating. Committal services will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Cruz is survived by his wife of 47 years; Maria Adela Jurado of Hobbs. Three children; Aureliana Jurado, Cruz Jurado Jr and wife Daniela Villalobos Jurado, and Victoria Jurado all of Hobbs. Two brothers; Pancho Jurado of Ojinaga, Mexico. Rafael Jurado and wife Ericka of Odessa, Texas. Three sisters; Alicia Hernandez and husband Paulino of Dumas, Texas. Rosie Rodriguez and husband Thomas of Amarillo, Texas. Concepcion Jurado and husband Jose of Ojinaga, Mexico. Six grandchildren; Anagabriel Jurado Carillo, Milaray Izabella Mireles, Sayid Israel Jurado, Isaac Daniel Jurado, Josue David Serrano Jurado, and Isaiah Caleb Serrano Jurado all of Hobbs. 

Cruz was preceded in death by his parents; Jose and Aurelia. Three brothers; Manuel Jurado, Jose Jurado, and Roman Jurado. Two sisters; Guadalupe Jurado and Maria Jurado. Two nephews; Oscar Hernandez and Javier Jasso Jurado. 

Services are entrusted to Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
