Daniel Florez

Daniel Florez, age 68 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away November 04, 2022 surrounded by his family and loved ones. 

Mr. Florez was born March 23, 1954 to Reyes Florez and Maria Contreraz in Tahoka, Texas.

Visiation for Daniel will be Monday, November 14, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer vigil will recite at 6 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Helena Catholic Church with Father Joe Pacquing officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Daniel is survived by his three children; Bernadine Florez Fuentes of Levelland, Texas. Silva Florez and Daniel Florez both of Hobbs. Eight sisters; Beatrice Florez of Nebraska. Yolanda Saenz of Greeley, Colorado. Aurora Florez, Maria Florez, Diana Florez and Tina Florez all of Hobbs. Sally Jimenez of Lovington and Stella Florez of Oklahoma. Five brothers; Freddy Florez and Reyes Florez both of Hobbs. Manuel Martinez of Seminole, Texas. Lupe Florez of Albuquerque, and Arturo Rodriguez of Carlsbad. Four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Daniel was preceded in death by his wife Silva Florez. Parents; Reyes and Maria Florez. Two brothers; Jimmy Florez and Domingo Florez. Sister; Margaret Florez. Niece; Augustina Rivera and nephew; Victor Florez. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
