Elisa L. Jimenez

Elisa Lujan Jimenez, age 89 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away November 24, 2022 surrounded by her family and loved ones. 

Mrs. Jimenez was born May 14, 1933 to Juan Lujan and Melquíades Barrera in Coyame, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Visitation for Elisa will be Monday, November 28, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Wake will begin at 6 p.m. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Bel Aire Baptist Church with Pastor Aurelio Lozano officiating. Committal services will follow at Jal Cemetery. 

Elisa is survived by her children; Three sons; Oscar Jimenez of San Antonio del Bravo, Mexico, Osvaldo Jimenez, and Sergio Jimenez both of Ojinaga, Mexico. Three daughters; Hermina Flores, Monse Jimenez, and Alicia Quezada all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Two sisters; Otilia Romero of Jal, New Mexico, and Estella Valeriano of Chihuahua, Mexico. Brother; Eliseo Lujan of Presido, Texas. 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 1 great grandchildren. 

Elisa was preceded in death by her husband Santana Jimenez who passed away in 2003. Parents; Juan and Melquides Lujan. Two daughters, four brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
