Eliseo Carrasco

Eliseo Carrasco, 87 of Tularosa, New Mexico passed away on March 08, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family and loved ones. 

Mr. Carrasco was born August 13, 1937 to Manuel Carrasco and Eustolia Leyva in Barstow, Texas. 

Visitation for Eliseo will be Monday, March 17, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. A prayer vigil will recite at 6 p.m. 

Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jorge Vargas officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Eliseo is survived by his six children: Ruben Carrasco and wife Weda of West Columbia, Texas. David Carrasco and wife Hope of Hobbs, New Mexico. Adrian Carrasco and wife Debbie of Lovington, New Mexico. Ignacio Gomez and wife Jessi of Angleton, Texas. Sofia Ramos and husband Eagle of Tularosa, New Mexico. Bella Sosa of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Three sisters: Rose Torres and Elvia Morales both of Helper, Utah. Maria Carrasco of Salt Lake City, Utah. Four brothers: Phil Carrasco of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gilbert Carrasco of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Robert Carrasco of El Paso, Texas. Ruben Carrasco of Las Vegas, Nevada. Twenty-Six grandchildren, Forty-Five great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. 

Eliseo was preceded in death by his wife Margarita G. Carrasco. Parents: Manuel and Eustolia Carrasco and one grandson: Jesus Carrasco. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
