Emma Rodriguez Hinojos

Emma Rodriguez Hinojos, age 85 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away August 31, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family and loved ones. 

Mrs. Hinojos was born January 07, 1939 to Francisco and Germana Rodriguez in Brady, Texas. 

Time of Remembrance begins Thursday, September 05, 2024 at 12 p.m. Funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. at Kings Gate Church with Pastor Matthew Sena officiating. Committal services will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Emma is survived by her husband of 66 years, Manuel Hinojos Sr. of Hobbs, New Mexico. Six children: Barbara Hinojos, Laura Molina and husband Oscar, Manuel Hinojos Jr. and wife Kala all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Linda Brown and husband Thomas of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Joseph Hinojos and wife Naomi of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Xavier Hinojos Sr. and wife Priscila of Odessa, Texas. Eighteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. 

Emma was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Germana Rodriguez. Two daughters: Sandra Kay Hinojos and Donna Marie Hinojos. Grandson: Manuel Hinojos IV. Three sisters: Catalina Martinez, Arcenia Rodriguez, and Eloisa Sanbrano. Two brothers: Manuel Rodriguez and Francisco Rodriguez Jr. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
