Ernie Lee Garrett

Ernest Garrett, age 63 of Hobbs, New Mexico suddenly passed away on May 17, 2021.

Mr. Garrett was born on September 29, 1957 in Ft. Worth Texas to Ivan Garrett and Iva Nell Frank.

Memorial service will be held on June 5, 2021 at Tex Mex from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M

Ernie is survived by his three children; Kelly Garrett and Ernest Garrett Jr both of Hobbs, New Mexico and Michael Garrett of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Three stepchildren. Numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Ernie was preceded in death by both parents, Linda Hartman, Diana Garrett and Betty Savage.

He loved collecting eagles, arrowheads, going fishing, watching Carol Burnett, Andy Griffin, and wresting. He loved his dog. Princess. He loved Church’s Chicken and Ranchers. He never met a stranger. He always made friends no matter where he went. He loved singing to Keith Urban and Kane Brown. His favorite songs were “Blue aint your color and Good as you.” He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
