George Clifford Kemp

George Clifford Kemp, age 77 of Kermit, Texas passed away January 06, 2025 at the VA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas surrounded by his family and loved ones. 

Mr. Kemp was born September 16, 1947 to Albert Kemp and Evaline Miles in Goldthwaite, Texas. 

Visitation for George will be Friday, January 10, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Funeral Home in Eunice, New Mexico. 

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Brunson Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Dudley Mullins officiating. He was a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Kermit, Texas.

George is survived by his wife of 57 years Paula Kemp of Kermit, Texas. Two sons: Charles Kemp of Garden Dale, Texas. Darren Kemp and wife Stephanie of Amarillo, Texas. Brother: Stean Kemp of Jal, New Mexico. Two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

George was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Evaline Kemp and a sister: Wanda Ragain.

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
