Gerardo Romero Franco

Gerardo Romero Franco, age 64 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away January 26, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family and loved ones. 

Mr. Franco was born December 22, 1960 to Simon Romero and Maria Franco in San Lorenzo, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Visitation for Gerardo will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. A prayer vigil will recite at 6 p.m. 

Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Father Jorge Vargas officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Gerardo is survived by his wife Irma Jimenez of Hobbs. Three children; Gerardo Romero, Liz Romero and Briana Romero all of Hobbs. Seven sisters; Maria Eliza Franco, Susana Franco, Maria Elena Franco, Maria del Carmen Franco, and Zulena Franco all of Mexico. Romelia Franco of Lovington, New Mexico. Mother; Maria Elena Franco. Two grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Gerardo was preceded in death by his father Simon Romero.  

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
