Guadalupe De La Fuente

Guadalupe de la Fuente, 70 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away October 26, 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. 

Mr. De la Fuente was born December 07, 1954, to Cayetano de la Fuente and Adelfina Ortiz in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. 

Visitation for Guadalupe will be Tuesday, November 04, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. 

Funeral services are to be held Wednesday, November 05, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Guadalupe is survived by his three children: Teresa de la Fuente, Guadalupe de la Fuente Jr., and Hector de la Fuente all of Lamesa, Texas. Three sisters: Maximiana Romero and Maria Torres and husband Antonio all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Josephine Morgado of Roswell, New Mexico. Five brothers: Ramiro Romero and wife Elvia and David Romero and wife Veronica all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Sebastian Romero and wife Elma of Eunice, New Mexico. Agapito Romero Jr. of Roswell, New Mexico. Juan Romero and wife Priscilla of Pampa, Texas. Fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

Guadalupe was preceded in death by his parents: Cayetano and Adelfina de la Fuente. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico
