Inez graduated from Hobbs High School in 1958. She then went to on to attend the University of Texas Permian Basin and graduated in 1972 with major in History. She taught 3rd graders for 12 years at Will Rogers Elementary School. Inez loved all of her students and made sure at the beginning of each year she showed her paralyzed arm and explained what had happened due to polio so they would not be afraid. Inez was very successful at being a teacher and for this she was rewarded by becoming teacher of the year!
Inez traveled to Europe, Canada, Mexico and several states over the course of several years. Inez accomplished everything she set out to do - she did not like when someone said they would do something and then did not do it - it was one of her peeves. Besides love of family, she loved her DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!!!!
This wonderful woman will be missed and we know that our sky has a new bright star shining down on us.
