Jacinto Martinez

Jacinto Martinez, age 59 of Hobbs, New Mexico died on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City, Texas. 

Mr. Martinez was born January 20, 1962 to Teodoro Martinez and Maria de Jesus Rivera in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Visitation for Jacinto will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hobbs First Assembly Church located at 800 W. Bender Blvd. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 01, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Hobbs First Assembly Church with Pastor Cornelio Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven memorial Park. 

Jacinto is survived by his wife of 39 years; Estela Martinez of Hobbs, New Mexico. Two daughters; Teresa Aranda and Alicia Urioste both of Hobbs, New Mexico. One son; Abener Martinez of Hobbs, New Mexico. Four brothers; Carlos Martinez, David Martinez and Cornelio Martinez all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Toedoro Martinez of Lovington, New Mexico. Eight sisters; Ruth Tarin of Roswell, New Mexico. Catalina Valencia and Abigail Acosta both of Artesia, New Mexico. Antonia Zamora and Martha Munoz both of Hobbs, New Mexico. Rebecca Martinez of Capitan, New Mexico. Sarai Nava of Lovington, New Mexico and Socorro Flores of Seagraves, Texas. One aunt; Isadora Martinez of El Paso, Texas. Eight grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Jacinto was preceded in death by his parents; Teodoro and Maria de Jesus Martinez. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
