Jesus Manuel Hernandez

Jesus Manuel Hernandez, age 82 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on February 06, 2023 surrounded by his family and loved ones. 

Mr. Hernandez was born January 19, 1941 to Jose Hernandez and Eloisa Amancio in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Visitation for Jesus will be Thursday, February 09, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer vigil will recite at 6:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Helena Catholic Church with Father Joe Pacquing officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Jesus is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eduvjes Hernandez of Hobbs. Eight children; Eloisa Moreno, Elpidia Brito, Miguel Hernandez, and Jose Hernandez all of Hobbs. Baudelio Hernandez, Jesus Hernandez Jr., Delio Hernandez, and Juan Hernandez all of Odessa, Texas. Brother; Paulino Hernandez of Odessa, Texas. Five sisters; Maria Hernandez, Gloria Hernandez, Elvira Rodriguez, and Cruz Tarango all of Odesa, Texas. Consuelo Zertuche of Midnight, Mississippi. Twenty-Four grandchildren, Thirty-Three grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Jesus was preceded in death by his parents; Jose and Eloisa. Four brothers; Arturo Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, Herman Hernandez and Baudelio Hernandez. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
