Jesus Segovia

Jesus Segovia, age 64 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away August 09, 2023 in Lovington, New Mexico.

Mr. Segovia was born September 10, 1958 to Benito Segovia and Maria Guadalupe Lomeli in Asientos, Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin on Monday August 21, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a prayer vigil reciting at 6 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jorge Vargas officiating. Committal services will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Jesus is survived by his wife of 42 years Luz Estela Segovia of Hobbs. Son; Jesus Segovia Jr. of Hobbs. Two daughters; Elizabeth Espinoza and Maria Cecilia Segovia both of Hobbs. Five sisters; Teresa Segovia of Denver, Colorado. Martina Segovia, Maria Segovia, Amalia Segovia, and Concepcion Segovia all of Mexico. Three brothers; Antonio Segovia and Luis Segovia both of Hobbs. Benito Segovia Jr. of Pensacola, Florida. 7 grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jesus was preceded in death by his parents; Benito and Maria. Two brothers; Jose Segovia and Isabel Segovia. Sister; Maria Guadalupe Segovia. Two nephews; Juan Carlos Segovia and Joan Segovia. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
