Joe Collins

Joe Willie Collins, age 69 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away at his residence on August 09, 2021 surrounded by his family and friends.  

Mr. Collins was born on February 26,1952 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Leo Collins and Maria de Jesus Santa. 

Graveside services are being held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Brunson Memorial Cemetery in Eunice, New Mexico at 2:00 P.M. 

Joe is survived by his wife of 49 years; Virgina Collins of Hobbs, New Mexico. Four children; Joe Willie Collins II from Carlsbad, New Mexico. Michael Collins of Midland, Texas; Katodra Lawson of Lubbock, Texas and Christy Montoya of Hobbs, New Mexico. Six brothers; Johnny Collins of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Arthur Collins of Eunice, New Mexico; Leo Collins Jr of New Orleans, Louisiana, Eddie Collins of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Jimmy Collins of Dallas, Texas. Eleven grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; Leo and Maria. One daughter Amy Collins and a brother; Alexandro Collins. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home in Hobbs, New Mexico.
