Jose Gomez

Jose Gomez, age 59 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on April 27, 2021 at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas. 

Mr. Gomez was born in Hiquer Larga, Sinoloa, Mexico on July 22, 1961 to Luis Gomez and Esperanza Acosta. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 07, 2021 at the Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Hobbs, New Mexico from 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Prayer vigil will recite at 6:00 P.M. Mass of Christian burial and the Committal burial will take place in La Cruz MPO. De Elota, Sinaloa, Mexico. 

Jose is survived by his wife of 30 years; Maria Delma Briones of Hobbs, New Mexico. Four Children; Norma Payen, Erica Payen Roberson and Adal Payen Jr. all of Hobbs, New Mexico and Raquel Mosley of Round Rock, Texas. Three sisters; Zobeida Gomez of Lovington, New Mexico; Guadalupe Gomez and Refugio Gomez both of Mexico. Two brothers; Manuel Gomez, Carlos Gomez both of Mexico. Ten grandchildren and Six great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.  

Jose was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
