Jose Ramon Jurado

Jose Ramon Jurado Moreno, 73 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away January 21, 2026, at Covenant Hobbs Hospital. 

Mr. Jurado was born February 20, 1952, to Isauro Jurado and Maria Moreno Ruiz in El Tule, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Visitation for Jose will be Monday, January 26, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Committal services will be held in El Tule, Chihuahua, Mexico. 

Jose is survived by his wife of 47 years: Manuela Jurado of Hobbs. Four children: Isauro Jurado and wife Judith, Oscar Omar Jurado and wife Nery, Jose Ramon Jr. and wife Nancy, and Karina Guadalupe Jurado and husband Cesar all of Hobbs. Sister: Refugio Jurado Moreno of El Tule, Chihuahua, Mx. Two brothers: Isauro Jurado Moreno Jr., of Chihuahua City, Chihuahua, Mx. and Manuel Jurado Moreno of El Tule, Chihuahua, Mx. Twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Compadre: Ramon Hernandez and wife Socorro who were life long friends of Jose.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents: Isauro and Maria Jurado. Three brothers: Antonio Jurado Moreno, Dolores Jurado Moreno, and Alberto Jurado Moreno. Two sisters: Agustina Jurado Moreno and Josefa Jurado Moreno.

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
