Joseph Rian Walker Jimenez gained his wings on February 8, 2024 after living for a little over eight hours.
He was born in the morning at 8:29 a.m. and was 4 lbs 2oz and 16.5 inches long.
Joseph resembled his dad and had his mom’s brown wavy hair and green eyes. His mom believes that he was already a daddy’s boy because she could only eat what his dad preferred during her whole pregnancy. He had a one percent chance at making it out of his mom alive but he was a strong fighter and wanted to make sure that he was able to meet his family before passing. His last few hours were spent in the arms of his loving family as they took turns comforting him, praying over him, talking to him, and letting him know how much he was already loved. He passed away in his mother’s arms as she kissed his small nose and whispered for the millionth time that she loved him.
Joseph is survived by his parents Fabian and Joni Jimenez. Brother; Kaigan Scott. Sisters; Aubrie and Penelope Scott. Grandparents; Bennie and DeeDee Bohannon. Grandma Elma Garcia, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m at the Lovington Cemetery.

Services are under the direction at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
