Juan G. Quiroz

Juan G. Quiroz passed away December 09, 2022 at the age of 104. 

Mr. Quiroz was born June 23, 1918 to Andres Quiroz and Maria Galvan Quiroz in Presidio, Texas. 

Juan was married to Tomasa Mota on February 24, 1946 for 58 years they had a great partnership. They were great parents to their three children. 

Juan was a great patriot, WWII Veteran, and recipient of Purple Heart Medal, European-Africa-Middle Eastern Service Ribbons, 1 Oak Leaf Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. He had been employed by West Engineering and Love Lady Construction. Juan enjoyed gardening, western and war movies. 

Mr. Quiroz is survived by one son Juan Quiroz Jr. of Hobbs. Two daughters; Maria Rosario Montgomery of Sheffield, Ohio and Maria Elena Wilson of Hobbs. Two brothers; Paulino Quiroz and Antonio Quiroz both of Hobbs. One sister; Maria Armendariz of Hobbs. 7 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. 

Mr. Quiroz was preceded in death by his parents Andres and Maria. Wife; Tomasa Quiroz. 3 grandsons, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters. 

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Brunson Memorial Cemetery in Eunice with Pastor David Matkins officiating followed by a luncheon at Fellowship of Believers at 5609 N. Grimes Street. Hobbs, New Mexico 88242. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
