Kathaleen Sadler Obituary

Kathaleen Sadler, Age 68 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away December 09, 2024 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas surrounded by her family and loved ones. 

Ms. Sadler was born May 23, 1956 to Joe Evans and Ernestine Sanders in Hobbs, New Mexico. 

Visitation for Kathaleen will be Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jointer officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Kathaleen is survived by her four children: LaDena Porter of Dallas, Texas. Shontisha Sadler of Hobbs, New Mexico. Antwan Sadler and Isiah Austin III both of Hobbs, New Mexico. Five sisters: Erica Evans of Houston, Texas. Sheryl Cater of Union City, California. Shelia Sanders and Janise Stinson both of Hobbs, New Mexico. Twelve brothers: Kastene Jones of Seminole, Texas. Rodney Sanders of Alma, Arkansas. Mark Sanders of Dallas, Texas. Eric Sanders, Jeffery Sanders, Lance Sanders, Ken Sanders, and Kent Sanders all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Terrell Sanders of Lubbock, Texas. James Evans and Douglas Evans of Houston, Texas. Keith Evans of Bryant, Texas. Wendell Evans of San Francisco, California. 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Kathaleen was preceded in death by her parents Joe Evans and R.D and Ernestine Sanders. Three brothers: Michael Sadler, Kevin Sanders, and Joe "JJ" Evans Jr. Sister: Love Evans. Grandson: Bryson Austin. Great-granddaughter: Arianna Jones. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
