Leonando Armando Montoya

Leonando Armando Montoya, age 69 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at his residence. 

Mr. Montoya was born November 06, 1952 to Eligio Montoya and Sista Hernandez in Ft. Hancock, Texas. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hobbs First Assembly Church. 

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Hobbs First Assembly Church with Pastor David Henry officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Armando is survived by his spouse of 46 years; Silvia Rios Montoya of Hobbs. Five children; Armando Montoya Jr., Veronica Alvarez, Jennifer Muro all of Hobbs, Guadalupe Montoya of Odessa, Texas, and Gerardo Montoya of Brownfield, Texas. Two sisters. Sixteen grandchildren. Ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Armando was preceded in death by his parents; Eligio and Sista Montoya. Brother; Juan G. Montoya. 

Pallbearers; Armando Montoya, Guadalupe Montoya, Elijah Alvarez, Michael Montoya and Gerardo Montoya and Javier Muro. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
