Luz P. Gonzales

Luz P. Gonzales, age 86 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away January 01, 2025, at Covenant Hobbs Hospital surrounded by her family and loved ones. 

Mrs. Gonzales was born September 15, 1938, to Ramon Zamora and Dona Galvan in Durango, Mexico.

Visitation for Luz will be Friday, January 03, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. A prayer vigil will recite at 6 p.m. 

Memorial mass will be held Saturday, January 04, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home with Father Sam officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Luz is survived by her four children Raul Zamora, Adrian Zamora, and Frederico Fabela all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Irene Gomez of Dallas, Texas. Two sisters: Elvia Zamora of Raton, New Mexico and Luz Zamora of Durango, Mexico. Nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and family.

Luz was preceded in death by her husband. Brother: Alfonso Zamora. Twos sisters: Sofia Zamora and Margarita Zamora.

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
