Magdalena Rivera Vasquez

Magdalena Rivera Vasquez, age 74 of Hobbs, New Mexico died on Wednesday, April 07, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Ms. Vasquez was born on January 15, 1947 in Las Nieves, Durango, Mexico to Magdaleno and Beda Rivera Vasquez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Hobbs, New Mexico from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Visitation will follow into Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at St. Helena Catholic Church at 1:00 P.M. with Father Joseph Pacquing officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Magdalena is survived by her children; One son; Jesus Manuel Rivera. Two daughters; Lorena Rivera and Irma Lilia Rivera all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Three sisters; Esperanza Enriquez and Lidia Garcia both of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Irma Rivera of Bernalillo, New Mexico. Two brothers; Hector Rivera Vasquez of Mesa, Arizona and Luis Rivera Vasquez of Gallup, New Mexico. Five grandchildren and Four great-grandchildren.

Magdalena was preceded in death by her parents, a husband, and two brothers.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
