Makayla Mounts

Makayla Mounts, age 16 passed away on September 30, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. 

Ms. Mounts was born September 30, 2005 to Justin Mounts and Amber Powers in Anaheim, California.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. 

Makayla is survived by her parents; Justin and Amber. One sister; Taylor Schratz of Hobbs, New Mexico. Two brothers; Christopher Powers of Buena Park, California and Simcon Nicholson of Phoenix, Arizona. Two nieces; Emma Westbrook and Layla Westbrook both of Hobbs, New Mexico. One nephew; Weston Westbrook of Hobbs, New Mexico and numerous aunts, uncles, and friends. 

Makayla will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
