Marchelle had a disposition that lit up a room. Her love and joy would consume the room and spread like fire. She was deeply spiritual, effortlessly herself and carried a grace that was colorful and playful. Her soul loved God, creating music, dancing, singing, poetry, movies, aspirations and following her dreams. Her spontaneous personality took her to different places with an eagerness for adventure. Her first one began shortly after graduating from Hobbs High in 2000 with a group of friends and a road trip to Los Angeles, California where she began her adult life. The words made their way to Clovis, New Mexico and filled more spaces and pages.
Marchelle's whimsical and joyful nature came through in all she did. She lived with passion for everything and everyone, especially her kids and family. Her unconditional love for her children was filled with countless moments of playing, laughing, hugs and kisses.
She is a shooting star who still burns bright in our lives with a fierce glow that is left in our hearts. She was a story teller with a unique expression and taught us to live everyday to its fullest and of course, taking lots of pictures. Her own chapter ended too soon, but the pages will live on through the legacy of her children and all the lives she touched. Her unforgettable character will remain within us all. Let us celebrate her story and lift her spirit up to God.
