Marcos Acosta

Marcos Lionel Acosta, age 23 passed away on September 09, 2021 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Mr. Acosta was born on December 26, 1997 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Mario Acosta and Margarita Carrasco.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and Friday, September 17, 2021 from 11 A.M to 8:00 P.M at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer vigil will recite at 6:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at New Hope Center Church located at 3300 N Fowler St with Pastor Nora Calvillo officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Marcos is survived by his parents; Mario Acosta and Margarita Carrasco both from Hobbs, New Mexico. Two sisters; Rosario Carrasco and Brianna Villanueva both from Hobbs, New Mexico. Maternal grandparents; Manuel and Margarita Carrasco both of Hobbs, New Mexico. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Marcos was preceded in death by his brother; Isaia M. Acosta and one aunt; Aurora Carrasco.

Marcos was a very kind, caring, and loving person. He was willing to give his last dollar for anyone. All he wanted was for everyone to have enough. He loved writing music, singing, and dancing. He loved to joke around with his family and friends. There was never a dull moment with him especially around his cousins Israel and Auden.

Marcos was a very outgoing, outspoken, fun, energetic and sometimes even annoying, but he will be truly missed. We will cherish every moment and memory with him.

Marcos, we will always love you.
