Mariah Murillo Macias

Mariah Grace Murillo Macias, passed away at the young age of 17 on March 24, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones. 

Mariah was born March 30, 2008, to Miguel A. Macias Corral and Eloisa Murillo in Hobbs, New Mexico. 

Visitation for Mariah will be Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. A prayer vigil will recite at 6 p.m. Visitation will follow on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Memorial mass will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at St. Helena Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Father Joe Pacquing officiating. Cremation will be taken place after services are completed. 

Mariah is survived by her parents: Miguel and Eloisa Macias of Hobbs. Five brothers: Richard Murillo and wife Noemi, Miguel Murillo and wife Griselda, David Murillo and wife Jacqueline, Anthony Murillo, and Dominic Murillo all of Hobbs. Maternal grandmother: Graciela Murillo of Hobbs. Three nieces, six nephews, and one great-niece. Numerous friends and her dog who was her life: Mia. 

Mariah was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Asencion Macias and Delfina Corral. Maternal grandfather: Antonio Murillo. Maternal great-grandmother: Amelia de Lara. Aunt: Hijina Zambrano. Three uncles: Aurelino Macias, Alfonso Murillo, and Gustavo Gutierrez. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
