Ramon Raymond Charo

Ramon Charo was born in Morton, Texas, September 21, 1962 to Guillermo and Olivia Charo. Ramon joined his family in Heaven on May 28, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Ramon and wife Roberta were married for 26 years, in which time he was a very loving husband.  Ramon loved being with his family and friends, taking trips to the mountains, fishing, and having cookouts. He loved playing with his grand children and they loved going to see their Paw Paw he spoiled them all rotten. Raymond worked for Eunice Well Service, DA&S, which later became Nabors Well Service on pulling units, before becoming ill.

Survivors include Wife Roberta Charo, two sons Edward Charo wife Carla and John Charo wife Emma all of Eunice, New Mexico. Five sisters; Olivia Garcia of Portales, New Mexico, Diane Sarmiento of Albuququre, New Mexico, Cloetilde Charo of Hobbs, New Mexico and Corina Newton husband Danny of Odessa, Texas. Two brothers Danny Charo wife Debbie of Albuququre, New Mexico, Joe Charo wife Billie of Hobbs, New Mexico.

Four Grandchildren Zaihly Charo, Liam Charo, Bella Charo and Nielah Charo and numerous Nephews and Nieces. Raymond was preceded in death by his Mother Olivia and his Father Guillermo Charo and brother Raul Charo.

In lieu of flowers the family asks to donate to the American cancer Association or Hospice Care. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kindred Hospice in Hobbs for their loving care as well as the entire staff of the Nor-Lea Cancer Center in Lovington, you were so very special and caring to Ramon during his illness, and he loved each one of you. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Eunice, New Mexico.
