Raul Jimenez Ornelas

Raul Jimenez Ornelas, of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on October 30, 2022 just two days after his 68th birthday. 

Mr. Ornelas was born October 28, 1954 to Javier Ornelas and Ramona Jimenez in Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco, Mexico. 

Visitation for Mr. Ornelas will be Thursday, November 03, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. A prayer vigil will recite at 6 p.m. 

Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, November 04, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Helena Catholic Church with Father Joe Pacquing officiating. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Raul is survived by his wife of 32 years Irma Ornelas of Hobbs. Six children; Raul Ornelas Jr and wife Griselda of San Antonio. Angel Ornelas and girlfriend Jennifer, Jose Ornelas, and Alexis Ornelas all of Hobbs. Armando Ornelas and wife Bonnie and Blanca Harris and husband Robbie all of Carlsbad. Six sisters. One brother. 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

Raul was preceded in death by his parents; Javier and Ramona Ornelas. Brother; Benjamin Ornelas. Sister; Bertha Ornelas. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
