Raul "Cisco" Perez

Raul "Cisco" Perez, 81 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away June 14, 2026, surrounded by his family and loved ones. 

Mr. Perez was born September 09, 1944, to Pedro Perez and Leonila Matamores in San Antonio, Texas.

A memorial service in honor of Raul will be held Friday, June 26, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. Committal burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. 

Raul is survived by his wife of 50 years: Juanita Perez of Hobbs. Five children: Carlos Paco Perez, Lisa Grimaldo Perez, Rolando Florentino Perez, Gloria Perez, and Elias Raul Perez all of Hobbs. Five sisters: Gertrude Martinez of Lubbock, Texas. Matilda De La Rosa and husband Raymond of Hobbs. Caroline Carillo of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Lucy Hernandez of Jal, New Mexico. Sylvia Trujillo and husband Benji of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Three brothers: Frank Carillo and wife Suzanne of Ramona, California. Carlos Carillo and wife Miriam of Roswell, New Mexico. Steve Carillo of Lovington, New Mexico. Eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

Raul was preceded in death by his parents: Pedro Perez and Leonila Carillo. Brother: Crispin Herandez. Grandsons: Dominic Degio Perez, Isaac Isaiah Perez, and Rolando Florentino Perez Jr.

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
