Rigoberto Leyva

Rigoberto Leyva, age 61 of Eunice, New Mexico passed away April 15, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Mr. Leyva was born October 24, 1962 to Epigmenio Leyva and Eva Sanchez in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Visitation for Rigoberto will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Calvary Funeral Home in Eunice, New Mexico. A prayer vigil will recite at 6 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Claire Catholic Church with Father Chris Amojo officiating. Committal burial will follow at the Eunice Cemetery. 

Rigoberto is survived by his wife of 34 years Lidia Leyva of Eunice, New Mexico. Mother: Eva Sanchez of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. Three children: Rigoberto Leyva Jr., Ernie Leyva, and Giselle Leyva all of Eunice, New Mexico. Sister; Hilda Leyva of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. Four brothers; Epigmenio Leyva of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. Ruben Leyva from Odessa, Texas. Joel Leyva from Midland, Texas. Gustavo Leyva from Eunice, New Mexico. Three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Rigoberto was preceded in death by his father Epigmenio Leyva and a brother: Humberto Leyva. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Eunice, New Mexico.
