Rosie Thompson

Rosie Thompson, age 84 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on June 18, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas. 

Mrs. Thompson was born February 01, 1938 to Willie Bell and Zeola Stokes Bell in Armorel, Arkansas. 

A memorial service will be held in honor of Rosie on July 02, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home. 

Rosie is survived by her children; Shirley Carter and husband Jerome of Lubbock, Texas. Fredrick Ricky Thompson, Dennis Earl Thompson and Rodney Lynn all of Hobbs, New Mexico. Brother; Alvin Bell of Chicago, Illinois. Six sisters; Linda McCoy and husband Michael of Frisco, Texas. Karen Bogan, Debra Bell, Mary Ann McNeary and husband Robert, and Tommie Johnson all of Blytheville  Arkansas, and Arleia Currin of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Six grandchildren. Twelve great grandchildren. Seven great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Rosie was preceded in death by her husband; Hubert Thompson. Parents; Willie and Zeola Bell. Six brothers; Norman Bell, Justin Bell, Andrew Bell, Jonathan Bell, Avery Curtis Bell and Willie Bell Jr. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
