Ruben Lujan

Ruben Lujan, age 65 of Jal, New Mexico died on March 4, 2021 at UMC Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. 

Mr. Lujan was born on October 26, 1955 in Kermit, Texas to Manuel and Mary Lujan. 

Funeral services for Mr. Lujan will be on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Church of Christ in Jal, New Mexico with Pastor Daryl Micham officiating. Burial will follow at Jal Cemetery. 

Ruben is survived by his wife of 41 years; Leticia Lujan. One son; Casey Joe Allen Lujan and wife Ashley of Greenwood, Texas. One daughter; Barbara Gail Melancon of Jal, New Mexico. One brother; Larry Lujan and wife Mary of Fort Stockton, Texas. Two sisters; Loraine Lett and husband Gary of Abilene, Texas and Irene Fuqua and husband Jace of Wink, Texas. Six grandchildren; Noah Anthony Melancon, Isaiah Alvis Melancon, Jeremiah Adan Melancon, Hannah Grace Melancon, Ethan Mark Lujan and Cade Allen Lujan. 

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents; One brother; Raul Lujan and Two nephews; Larry Joe Lujan and Vincente Gonzales. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Funeral Home in Eunice, New Mexico.
