Sammy Ruiz

Sammy Ruiz, 49, of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on December 07, 2021 at Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Mr. Ruiz was born October 23, 1972 to Marsial Ruiz Sr. and Anita Melendrez in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Visitation for Sammy will be Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glenda Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Sammy is survived by his wife; Stacy Garcia of Hobbs, New Mexico. Mother; Anita Ruiz of Lovington, New Mexico. Nine children; Anthony, Genieve, Sammy, Adrian, Isaac, Desiree, Jacob, Charisma, and Samya. Sister; Nancy Ruiz of Rialto, California. Brother; Marsial Ruiz Jr and wife Cristal of Lovington, New Mexico. Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Sammy was preceded in death by his father; Marsial Ruiz Sr. Brother; George Ruiz. Aunt; Dora Ruiz and uncle; Luis Ruiz Sr. 

Sammy loved listening to oldies, loved lowriding, but most of all loved his family. He was a character just like his dad Marsial Sr. Sammy loved to make people laugh and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
