Sheila Rae Ryen

Sheila R. Ryen age 53, of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away on January 18, 2025. 

Ms. Ryen was born on August 9, 1971, in Clovis, New Mexico. She was the daughter of Adelina Montaño Baca and Floyd Kenneth Ryen.

A celebration of Sheila’s life will take place on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 12 p.m.  at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Sheila is survived by her two children: Savannah (Zak) Mahboube of Laurel, Maryland and Jlynn Ryen of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Four grandchildren: Avah Lucero, Violet Ryen, Hope Ryen, and Aria Mahboube, Six siblings: Johnny (Angie) Ryen, Kenny Ryen, Steven (Diana) Ryen, Allan Ryen, Cody (Eva) Ryen, and Bianca Baca.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents: Adelina Baca and Ken Ryen; her stepfather, Juan Baca. Two sister: Sherry Ann Ryen and Juanita Ryen. One brother: Gary Ryen. 

Sheila will be remembered for her big heart, humor, and love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.

Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
