Tanya White

Tanya Lee White, of Eunice, NM, passed away at the age of 76 in the early morning of October 07, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas.

Mrs. White was born on April 10, 1948, in Odessa, Texas to WG "Jigs" and Merle Gray.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Brunson Memorial Cemetery. Dr. Kenny Reed will preside over the service.

Tanya married the love of her life, Lynn White on December 19, 1981 in Eunice, New Mexico. Lynn referred to her as his "Sugar Booger".

Tanya was a 1966 graduate of Eunice High School. She loved watching Eunice Cardinal sports, especialy watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play any type of ball. More than anything, she loved her Lord Jesus Christ. If she told you that she would pray for you, she did! She believed in daily prayers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Lynn White. Two daughters: Kristi Mathews and husband Doug and Lori Robinson and husband John all of Eunice, New Mexico. Grandchildren: Brandon and Ashley Mathews, Miranda Fish and Mando Rodriguez, Kelsie Fish, Shawn Robinson and Jayden Herrington, Dylan Robinson, and Dustin and Megan Frank. Great-grandchildren: Jace, Cooper, Carter, Ariya, Ayda, Bryson, Aiden, Rylee, and many friends whom she loved dearly. She was affectionally as Mama to over half of Eunice!

Tanya was preceded in death by her parents, WG and Merle Gray. Brother: Max Gray. A nephew, one great-granddaughter, and one great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Tanya's name to the First Baptist Church in Eunice, New Mexico. 

Services are under the direction of Calvary Funeral Home of Eunice, New Mexico.
